Meet Goof Off – The Wannabe Reindeer!
Goof Off is a baby Nubian goat and he just loves little children! He loves to run, play, and sing with boys and girls. Goof Off was born on Christmas Eve, so he is a baby Christmas goat! He especially loves to celebrate Christmas with all the children.
Nubian goats come in different colors and are from a place in the Middle East, which is where Christmas began in Bethlehem over 2,000 years ago. Many of the people in the Middle East like having a mommy Nubian goat because their milk tastes so good and the milk makes great cheese! When goats are young, people call them “Kids”. But unlike people, these “Kids” can stand up within only a few minutes of being born.
Santa Clause loves everybody! He also loves animals, especially baby animals. At his home at the North Pole, Santa has lots of baby animals like chickees, baby donkeys, baby kitties and goats. Santa has a Nubian goat named “Daisy”, and she has two baby goats named “Happy” and “Pixie”.
Can you write Goof Off and tell him what kinds of animals you like?
